FIRST MOTHER

First Mother (2019) was composed for a short film entitled Mass. The soundtrack evokes a contemplation of unspoilt nature, whose cycles follow a slow, uninterrupted rhythm. The piece unfolds from a repeated motif performed by two oboes. The accompanying videos are archive footage recorded by Romain Vuille on the filming location near the Opal Coast in Hauts-de-France.
